Chris Armour has been building websites and administering systems since 2016, starting with contract work for Arizona schools and nonprofits. That meant doing both halves of the job from the beginning: building the site in the morning and reimaging a room of laptops in the afternoon.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Network Security from the University of Advancing Technology, which the National Security Agency designates a Center for Academic Excellence in Information Systems Security Education. He also holds the Google IT Support Professional Certificate and has competed in the National Cyber League, with a best team finish of 88th out of 3,910.

Chris is the author of The Adversarial Architect, a book series on designing systems from the attacker's point of view. It argues that security is an economic problem rather than a purely technical one, and that the useful shift is learning to look at your own work the way someone trying to break it would.
